Residential roofing

The area sits about 20 miles west of Kalispell on US-2, in a mix of timber country, pasture, and lake properties. Most of what we work on out here is acreage homes, seasonal cabins around Little Bitterroot, McGregor, and Lake Blaine, and larger shop buildings. Wind exposure across Pleasant Valley and wildfire risk on treed parcels are the two biggest factors in our material recommendations.

The two residential systems we install most:

We also handle roof repair, tear-off and replacement, new construction roofing, and seasonal inspections. Ice dam repair on older cabins is common work here in late winter.

Commercial and ag roofing

For small commercial and agricultural buildings out here (shops, hay sheds, riding arenas, and rental cabins), we install standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, TPO and EPDM for low-slope additions, and coated foam over existing metal decks for insulation upgrades.

Why owners pick Sisu

We are a Malarkey Certified Contractor, which unlocks enhanced manufacturer warranties on the shingles we install. This area is within our core 40-mile service radius, so response and dispatch costs are the same as a Kalispell job. Read local feedback on our reviews page.

Local roofing conditions

Elevation runs from about 2,900 feet at the lake cabins to over 3,500 feet up in Pleasant Valley. Snow loads, wind, and fire risk all climb with elevation. Winter access can be tough in storms, so we try to stage materials on-site before a reroof and work in tight weather windows. For lake properties, we pay extra attention to eave and valley flashing where ice dams start.

Permits are pulled through Flathead County.
